Supporter Fund Friends of Classical Music
founded: 2016
The Supporter Fund Friends of Classical Music promotes and supports the performance of classical music in the context of "historically informed performances" from the period between ca. 1200 and ca. 1900. One focus lies in the support and promotion of young classical musicians and their musical projects. The fund can support the participation of musicians in music festivals and promote the performance of early music at classical music festivals. The fund may also support other organisations that pursue the same goal, namely the promotion of early classical music and "historically informed" classical musicians. The fund is a non-profit organisation, does not pursue any commercial objectives and is not profit-oriented. The fund refrains from any political activity.
The Advisory Board decides on grants subject to formal approval by the Board of Trustees of the Fondation des Fondateurs.
The Advisory Board has delegated the management and examination of applications to Martin Straub.
