Sambol Foundation
founded: 2018
The Sambol Foundation promotes the protection and education and/or training of women and children affected by violence, primarily from socially disadvantaged sections of the population, particularly in Sri Lanka. By providing free accommodation and vocational training programmes, the aim is to lay the foundations for improving their living conditions and paving the way back to an independent life.
