Dr. Thomas Sprecher
President of the foundation board since 2007
is a lawyer and has been a partner at Niederer Kraft & Frey AG, Zurich, since 2001. He is an acknowledged expert in Swiss foundation law and publishes regularly in this field. As co-author of the "Swiss Foundation Code", he has contributed significantly to the development of foundation governance. Thomas Sprecher is legal advisor to SwissFoundations and a member of various foundation boards.
Dr. Philipp Egger
Vice president of the foundation board since 2007
is the founder and co-editor of the book series "Foundation Governance", co-author of the "Swiss Foundation Code" and the European Foundation Code, and a member of several foundation and board of directors. He has been the managing director of the Gebert Rüf Foundation since its establishment and served as its director from 1998 to 2016. In addition, he was a founding member and long-standing board member of SwissFoundations.
Evelyn S. Braun
Member of the foundation board since 2008
has been active in the foundation sector for many years and holds various foundation management and executive board mandates. In various functions she accompanied and shaped the development of the AVINA Foundation in Latin America from 1994 onwards. From 2003 to 2011 she was responsible for the development of the AVINA Foundation in Switzerland as Managing Director. She was a board member of SwissFoundations (2005 to 2014) and co-founder of the association's Senior Experts Network.
